Baby Harper Addison Todd is finally here! Born June 18, 2010 at 1:18pm, weighing 7lbs 15 oz and 20.5 inches long! She is beautiful and for the most part a good baby! She sleeps all day but has a hard time staying a sleep all night. She makes the most pathetic noises and poops and pees all the time. But, we are so in LOVE with her!

Busy day...

We got a lot accomplished today! We picked out carpet for the upstairs rooms, found baby furniture set, and got to spend some time together! It was really nice. The house is finally coming together. All the painting (except minor fixes) is done, and the hard wood is coming along nicely. Two rooms done, the front foyer almost there. Tomorrow they are finishing that and working on the stairs up to through the hallway. After all that, just two more rooms! Then the majority of the house will be done, with just the Laundry room, and two bathrooms to worry about.

The baby is coming along pretty good too. She is a very active little thing. I feel her move around a lot which is a very nice feeling and it puts a smile on my face! She is kicking the edge of the lap top as i am typing. Maybe she'll be a writer! Or a kick boxer. I feel like we are going to have a very neat little kid. Hope so at least.

Need some ideas for names! Right now we are liking Addison, Harper, Carrington, Dylan, or Devin. I like Carson and Reagan, but Zach's not falling for them. He also wants to name her Jenny Sue so he can yell it as country as possible. Or Bo Todd. Thank god I have a say in the matter.

Buying baby stuff is hard...

So my mom is all over me about buying baby stuff. And naming her. And doing everything else for the baby. Is it wrong that I don't want to make any of these decisions?? I want to get everything set up and taken care of, but is it too early? Who knows. Below is a link to the bedding set that I am in love with and pretty sure I am going to get today! There is so much to get and so much to do for the baby , and work that it is all very overwhelming. I'm due in June and know I have some time, but do I really?? This might all be easier if Zach were around. He'll be home in 2 more weeks. It's a girl!!

Last Tuesday we found out that our little Tater is going to be a girl!! Zach is having a hard time getting used to the idea, but of course he will come around. We were really shocked to have a girl, as we thought it would be nearly impossible with the genes in his family. We had everything sort of planned for a boy but are so excited to be having a sweet little baby girl.

There is so much going on in our lives and so many people that we have a hard time keeping in touch with, therefore I have turned to blogging. Hopefully I get the hang of it, so we can keep our families and friends involved in our oh-so-busy and GROWING family!
